About Eid in Burgess Park

Eid Mubarak! We are delighted to once again be part of London’s largest Eid in the Park festival, as we have for twenty years.

Once again, the Southwark Muslim Forum is hosting this iconic community event in south London’s Burgess Park. All are welcome and there is free entry to the Eid festivities, which will include prayer, celebration, multicultural food vendors with a wide range of halal options and of course some funfair rides from yours truly!

As with all of our funfairs, these events are alcohol-free zones and have licensed SIA security in place to support our pledge of zero tolerance towards racial or religious prejudice. We are proud that our fairs are welcoming places where people from all religions can enjoy a family day out and make new memories.

Eco Friendly Travel

We encourage all visitors to come by Public Transport if they can.

I visited the funfair – twice, actually! I have a disability, but found I could go on many rides due to helpful staff, and their kindness and eagerness to help. Thank you again for everything, I had a lovely time.
