Helter Skelter Paintings By South London Artist And Indie Rock Star

We are delighted to share with you these beautiful helter skelter paintings by Crystal Palace artist Darren Hayman.

Darren began painting nightscapes inspired by the sights he saw whilst taking his Jack Russell Minnie out for her last walk of the evening. As a Crystal Palace resident, our fair soon captured his eye and he took to painting our attractions in daylight as well!

Darren held his first solo art exhibition last summer, which was featured in the Guardian and promptly sold out.

Darren is not only a talented artist but also a singer-songwriter. Indie rock fans may know him as the frontman and guitarist of Hefner, who enjoyed several hits in the nineties and were much beloved by the legendary Radio 1 DJ John Peel.
