George Irvin’s Funfair Paintings In New Exhibition And Book

You may remember the charming miniature helter skelter paintings by Darren Hayman that we shared with you in the spring. Darren, who lives in Crystal Palace, visited our Crystal Palace Park funfair and was inspired by how it looked in the dark.

Darren has since been hard at work on a whole series of funfair paintings that capture the magic of the fairground at night.

Now his beautiful work is going on display at ArtDog gallery on Brockley Rise from Saturday 23rd November to Sunday 15th December (open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays 11am to 5pm, Sundays 11am to 3pm).

The Fun Fair exhibition will also be made into a forthcoming book.

Darren’s last exhibition was featured in the Guardian and we wish him great success with this one.
