From bratwurst sausages on brioche buns with sauerkraut and senf, to bratkartoffein and pretzels, we will have an endless choice of authentic food to cater all your Oktoberfest needs. Krajauer smokey bacon sausage, kasekrainer cheese filled sausages with a chilli hit, frikadellen pork burgers, schnitzel, and with vegan and vegetarian options available you’ll not be going hungry.
A range of caterers will be serving food including swing grills that will be cooking up over 400 different kinds of german sausages per hour! In addition, there will be an authentic Pan House offering everything from sauerkraut to vegan bratwurst. Our walk around teams will also be offering salted pretzels and drinks for sale.
We are pleased to offer a variety of gluten free / coeliac options from our selected caterers, however we cannot guarantee that cross contamination will not occur.
What are you wearing to Oktoberfest on the Common?
The dirndl dress, which has its roots in Alpine peasant clothing is a recognisable visual from many an Oktoberfest, the same goes for the lederhosen, and the Tyrolean hat. It is a fact that you will have a lot more fun when dressed up for an Oktoberfest.
If you want to get into the Oktoberfest vibes without wearing a the traditional outfits, a german-inspired sweater will lift the vibes, but guests are invited to wear whatever they feel comfortable in.
PS… We always advise flat shoes for dancing and walking on Clapham Common.
